my sibling got me the aai remaster for my birthday and it's actually such a quality port, the new sprites are lovely, you can still use old sprites + music, the ui is edgeworth-themed, they included all kinds of previously jp-only art and the orchestral soundtrack in the gallery, you unlock little achievements as you go even on the switch version, lots of qol options in the settings....just so good, definitely my favorite of the many many releases of assorted aa games i've played over the years. it's what he deserves

#i originally played a combo of the first ios ports (they were not great lol) and my siblings' ds games #later bought the series for 3ds so i had it all on there for my various replays #and my sibling and i shared the switch port of great aa #but my dad got the steam and modern ios ports when he played so i've also seen a lot of those #aai2 ofc we all had to emulate #teaching my dad to do that was fun #but YEAH aai feels so nice and polished now. love it #txt #laceaa #sibling was like “i was sure you were gonna need to get this eventually” and they were right lol
